Coree's second litter was sired by CH WTCH Imp. Spot VIII HXAs ROMX (pictured below), owned by Becky Beckmann and Steve Burdine of Rising Sun Farm. I had watched Becky and Spot compete in an Advanced A herding course in 2001 and really liked the way Spot worked with Becky. Since then, I've seen several of Spot's offspring competing in herding, agility and conformation and decided that his versatility would be a good match for Coree. Coree delivered a single red-tri male puppy, now named Ted, on July 4th, 2004. The picture below was taken on July 5, and is my favorite picture of Coree and her son. She conceived two puppies, but the female puppy died at birth. So, Coree raised a single puppy for almost a month, until Flicker joined my household.

Spot x Coree

Flicker is three and a half weeks older than Ted and she taught Ted a lot about puppy play and life in general from a puppy's point of view, as the picture below shows.
They still see each other regularly and Ted is always very aware of who's the boss in their relationship - FLICKER!
